Insured portals and employee logins
Digital identity protection in the insurance sector
The KeyIdentity MFA platform enables you to secure customer access with sustainable and legally compliant multi-factor authentication (or two-factor authentication). In addition to the conventional check of static characteristics such as the combination of user name or the insured person's number and password, several factors are taken into account for each registration.
Protection from Hacks
Stolen or weak passwords are now the cause of a hack* in 81 percent of all cases; in 2016 it was "only" about 60 percent. Passwords are no longer enough to protect against hacks. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) to verify identity significantly reduces the risk of an attack and secures your network and cloud environments.

The open source-based KeyIdentity MFA platform "LinOTP" provides a quick remedy; this corresponds to all current security standards for one-time password authentication (OTP). LinOTP's open source core is continuously enhanced by experienced IT security experts and enriched with valuable features to always meet the latest security requirements.
Baloise and KeyIdentity
The Baloise insurance group has also opted for multi-factor authentication (MFA) from KeyIdentity: The Group will use KeyIdentity's MFA solution for the secure login and authentication of customers in its online insurance portal. In addition, the MFA solution ensures that employees have access to the Group's own network. SMS, push and QR tokens are used for user authentication. High security and user acceptance as well as easy handling and integration into IT infrastructure were decisive criteria for the selection.
